Ms. Amanda,
I appreciate your tutelage and your diligence to better prepare me for the LSAT. The additional time that you granted and the worksheets you shared are invaluable.
Thank you for growing my knowledge of the LSAT and your patience of Job.
Respectfully,
J.M. Roper
Amanda is an incredible LSAT and law school admissions tutor! Her expertise and teaching style made this process smoother and more successful. I highly recommend her for anyone interested in going to law school.
I loved working with Amanda!! She was able to recognize my unconscious biases/habits and teach me new strategies specific to my testing approach and learning style. She has so much insight to the LSAT and the whole admissions process in general to share.
Amanda sets the gold standard for LSAT tutors. She is highly skilled at explaining challenging concepts and breaking them down in a way that anyone can understand. It was my pleasure to get to work with Amanda and raise my score from a 145 to a 161 PT score over 8 weeks! I not only consider Amanda an amazing tutor but a wonderful friend.
We were fortunate to have a good friend recommend Chris as an SAT tutor for our daughter this past summer. He was patient, thorough and flexible to work with, being willing to work with her in person but also remotely when scheduling necessitated it. He is very knowledgeable about these standardized tests and helped her to figure out whether SAT or ACT would better suit her strengths. Then helped her to develop strategies to approach the questions. We highly recommend Chris!
I had the pleasure of working with Amanda who was an exceptional tutor throughout my time preparing for the LSAT. The help I received from Amanda was amazing and it allowed me to reach my goal. The attention to detail alongside the tips and tricks you learn is not something that you can gain from a class and I highly recommend tutoring if you are attempting to reach the best score possible. There was great communication as well as quick response times to any questions I had outside of sessions. Not only did I receive help on the LSAT, I also received help with my personal statement for law school. No matter what test you or your child are studying for, you should work with Amanda or Chris to achieve your goal.
Chris was patient and thorough with our son's test prep! His score definitely improved with Chris's help! Thank you!!
We are so grateful to Chris for all his support he gave our kids during the process of their SAT/ACT preparation. He is really smart and very knowledgeable and has a special ability to prep them so they don't feel stressed or overwhelmed. He's so kind, honest, and extremely dependable. I wish I could give more stars!
I worked with Amanda to prepare for the LSAT this year, and she has been a fantastic tutor. I came in with a 160 LSAT score and thanks to Amanda, I am now testing 9 points higher. Amanda is amazing; she has helped me a lot. I came in with a lot of testing anxiety, but she has been very understanding and encouraging, which helped me believe more in my ability to do well on the test. She explains things well and created a great study schedule that is feasible for me as a full-time student. Amanda is a delight to work with and cares a lot about her students; she has been an invaluable resource and friend during law school applications and I have found her advice extremely useful in navigating the process as I am the first person in my family to go into law. I highly recommend Amanda as an LSAT tutor.
Paradigm Test Prep: what an invaluable blessing to our children!
We've got three sons who've been through the College Prep experience, their "Baby" Sister is currently being Shepherded through the rigorous process by Chris and team.
My "Olders" did the group route in the mid-2010's, a prep company that was suggested by their High School that advertised group rate...... My Oldest did fine in that environment, he would have thrived anywhere. Second son attempted group w/same company, and spoke of his own reservations re: company's diligence in truly knowing where HE was in terms of in terms of readiness. Second son spoke of wistfulness (long after the fact, darn it!) regarding classmates who were being coached/prepped by Chris and the Paradigm Test Prep Coaches.
Moving on to Third son: he was/is not a test-taker, simply not his wheelhouse, he's got other strengths. Knowing this, I panicked - The Paradigm Test Prep group were able to interact with my son, assess his readiness to include strengths and weaknesses Standardized-Test wise, and capitalize on a low stress, consistent/dependable, method of test prep that my son was easily able to incorporate as part of his school week. HE was motivated to ask friends to join him in test prep, resulting in the test-prep not being an issue to nag him to participate in, but kind of a "smack-talk" challenge in the high school hallway re: which friend could most easily define/solve/summarize in passing between classes. It was a Son-Proud challenge, not yet another thing I needed to nag him about...
That the Paradigm Test Prep group was able to ascertain what my son needed study-wise AND capture motivation for he and friends at our school was brilliant, and I'll forever be grateful! From My Experienced Consumer Perspective: you'll not EVER get that individual (thus targeted approach-directed) consideration from an advertised group from your child's high school.
My last child is being led on her own individualized path by the Paradigm Test Prep group, she would NOT have done well in the group setting experienced by her Oldest Brothers' , and HER strengths/motivations are different from Brother #3. Paradigm Test Prep recognizes this and are working to capitalize her strengths and buttress her weak areas. I'm BEYOND grateful!!!!
As a parent I am more than impressed with Paradigm Test Prep. I reached out to Chris and Amanda to help my daughter with SAT prep and college applications. Not only are they absolutely professional and competent, but both Amanda and Chris are gifted with patience and are totally down to earth, making both my daughter and myself very comfortable. One thing I absolutely loved was, when overhearring my daughter's sessions, their ability to teach conceptually. This is brilliant because I know this will help my daughter long term throughout her educational process, putting her above the crowd.
I could not be more grateful, and relieved, for the the amount of work Amanda and Chris put forth for my daughter. I feel they legitimately care, and am so happy we chose them. We just received my daughter's fourth University of California acceptance, and I know this wouldn't be possible if we hadn't reached out to Paradigm Test Prep. Kudos to them, and continuous gratitude. 100% recommend this business.
100% Recommend! I did tutoring with Chris and Amanda for the SAT's and it was an amazing experience. I have always struggled at english, but after tutoring, my english score on the PSAT improved so much! Chris and Amanda have amazing patience when it comes to explaining things so you fully understand them. I not only have learned the material but I have learned the tools to effectively problem solve.
Aside from the test, I have learned to prioritize work and be more responsible because of Chris and Amanda. Not only are they amazing tutors, but great mentors!
Would highly recommend test preparation and tutoring from Amanda and Chris to anyone looking to improve their child's SAT scores. We recently had the pleasure of using their services for our daughter and I have to say, it was an excellent experience from start to finish. They were professional, relatable and top-notch. They provided her with many tips, tricks, and material to help her achieve her goal. Thank you Chris and Amanda!
We enrolled our daughter in their test prep program and saw GREAT results! Our daughter was hesitant at first, but they were very patient and worked with her to achieve her trust. Not only were they great at test prep, but they knew alot of the insider tips to even help with her college essays. I have recommended them to our friends who have children (sophmore-early senior) who want to raise their kids scores and help hone their college applications.
I've had the privilege of receiving tutoring from both Amanda and Chris.
Amanda has taught me all the tips, tricks, and material I needed to know in order to earn a high SAT score. Throughout the process, she provided many resources and advice to receive all the knowledge and practice I needed to feel prepared. She would always go the pace where I felt most comfortable and made sure I was confident with the material before moving on. Amanda also gave me excellent advice when I was completing college applications to ensure they reached their full potential and truly represented who I am as a person. Amanda's advice/teachings have not only helped me with the SAT and college applications, but it's taught me many techniques I've used when writing papers, creating a resume, managing my time wisely, and so many more skills I will continue to utilize throughout my life.
Chris has continually helped me advance in my precalculus class. Having a teacher that is often absent and teaches in a way that doesn't necessarily resonate with me, I was struggling. Within a few weeks of reaching out to Chris, my quiz and test scores were greatly improving and so was my grade. I can proudly say I was one of the very few students who received an A in that class. During meetings with Chris, he always is able to gauge what level of understanding I have and what I still need help on. When I don't understand something, he is always prepared to go more in depth or explain it in a different way that I can better understand. He has helped me build my confidence in a subject I previously struggled with.
For me and many others, reaching out for help from a tutor can be intimidating. I've had tutors before who become impatient when it's taking longer to understand a topic, or overall are just arrogant. I was relieved when I realized this wasn't the case for Amanda and Chris. Neither one of them would ever rush a topic or hesitate to go more in depth on something I didn't understand. Both have a talent for teaching in a way that works best for you. I can't express the gratitude I have for both Amanda and Chris for repeatedly going out of their way to prioritize my needs. You can tell that both have a love and passion for helping others, and it is greatly reflected in their work.
When I decided I wanted to become an attorney, I had already left college over 10 years ago. I had no idea how to prepare for the LSAT, and how best to navigate the law school application process. Here is where Amanda from Paradigm stepped in and helped. Over the course of several periods of classroom instruction and tutoring sessions, she patiently and lucidly presented me with the best strategies, tips, and methods to do well on the LSAT, great reading and practice preparation material, and the best advice on how to get into the law school of my choice. I listened and was able to get my first choice. Now I am seeking her counsel on how to do well in law school. Thanks a million Amanda.
Best,
Allan
Amanda helped me prepare (and improve my score!!) for the December 2017 LSAT. She not only explained LSAT concepts extremely well, but also boosted my confidence going into the test. She is very knowledgeable about the admissions process and the LSAT and she gave me the extra edge I needed to succeed. I would highly recommend her to anyone!!
Amanda is absolutely amazing. If I could give more stars I would. We've been through quite the journey and I cannot recommend her enough. As a mentor, as a tutor, and as a human being she is amazing. I received tutoring from her for the LSAT and help on my personal statement. She is flexible, super intelligent, super helpful, and actually cares! No matter what your goals are, she can help. I spent weeks working on my personal statement and finally got fed up. I knew what I wanted to say and the type of statement I wanted but could not exactly communicate it. In no time she completely helped me revamp it and now every time I read it, I get chills. It was more than I could have imagined. As for the LSAT tutoring, there is no quick instant fix if you want a high score. It takes time and effort. She helped from day 1 and I really made some huge jumps and strides with my score due to her tutelage. I went from a 148 Cold Diagnostic to the high 160's in a matter of a few months. If you are struggling or you just want to get into that elite tier of scorers, look no further! I am sure that I will stay in touch with her throughout law school, and my career in law. I came for a tutor, but found a mentor!
Cheers,
Michael
Chris is the best! My daughter has improved her SAT score by 300 points since her initial PSAT just a few months ago. My child has an IEP and Chris has adjusted his tutoring technique to meet her specific needs and get her maximum results in a short amount of time. They will continue to work together so that her test results reflect a more accurate picture of who my child is as a student. Chris is thorough, clear with his expectations, astute with his observations and reasonable with suggested workload. I could not ask for more in a tutor for my daughter. I know others that have utilized Chris' tutoring specifically and they also feel strongly that it was his assistance that got their child where they needed to be. Thank you Chris!!
